This week we have a super episode of Guns, God and General Mayhem as we review Kevin Smith’s new film Red State.

When word hit the streets that a whole bunch of Hollywood tough guys were starring in the same movie, a movie which was written by none other than Rocky himself, action fans everywhere peed in their pants a little. But as good as this concept sounded, something in this movie was lacking and Keith and Paul think they know why.

Welcome to the life of Arthur, who is played by ex-heroin addict, Russell Brand, reprising the role first played by raging alcoholic, Dudley Moore. With some authority on the subject, GMGB pours a stiff drink and reflects on Arthur the man and the movie, the value of quirk and Paul’s desire to shower with Helen Mirren.

Disney movies are usually a little young for our show, but something about this movie had the potential to make us forget our age and be enthralled by a good old fashioned magic show. Honestly, we don’t know what we were thinking. This week, Nicholas Cage inspires another Rage From The Cage episode and we try our darndest to keep it Disney.
